Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows & Linux servers (physical and virtual).
- Manage server performance, apply patches, updates, and security fixes.
- Set up and manage Domain Controllers, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Microsoft Clusters.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server incidents including OS performance issues, file server problems, and cluster failures.
- Administer and maintain centralized antivirus solutions and firewall policies.
- Configure and manage VMware vSphere virtual environments.
- Execute server backup/restore procedures (Windows & Linux).
- Perform VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) management and user access control.
- Implement and manage file and directory permission policies.
- Handle Windows server change requests and coordinate with third-party vendors for escalations.
- Monitor and identify security risks and suggest remediation.
- Support procurement and software license management-related issues.
- Follow ITIL processes, especially incident management, and ensure SLA adherence.
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server & Linux Server administration.
- Good knowledge of VMware vSphere, IIS, ISA, and centralized antivirus tools.
- Proficient in network and firewall management, including policy creation.
- Experience in VDI management, file permissions, and backup scheduling.
- Sound understanding of ITIL framework.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and customer service skills.
- Willing to work in a rotational shift and handle extended hours if required.
