This senior role will be responsible for growing the AUM business in the region through the distribution of PMS (Portfolio Management Services) via national distributors, Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), and other channel partners. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in wealth management, with a strong understanding of stock markets and portfolio management strategies. You will engage with both internal teams and external partners to increase AUM, educate clients, and develop strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- PMS Distribution Management: Develop and manage the distribution of Portfolio Management Services (PMS) through national distributors, Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), and other channel partners.
- Client and Partner Communication: Provide detailed information about PMS strategies and offerings to partners and customers, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Increase AUM: Focus on increasing Assets Under Management (AUM) from channel partners and develop the AUM business for the region.
- Market Knowledge: Apply an understanding of basic stock market concepts and allocation management, confidently communicating these concepts to customers.
- Client Engagement: Meet with prospective PMS clients to discuss PMS strategies and offerings, addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
- Query Resolution: Passionately resolve product and strategy queries with a data-driven, analytical approach.
- Proactive & Independent: Be proactive, self-motivated, and independent, with the ability to focus on achieving goals and driving results.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in wealth management, PMS distribution, or a related field.
- Educational Background: CA, CFA, MBA, Certified Portfolio Manager, Engineer, or any Post Graduate qualification from a premier institute.
- Market Understanding: Strong understanding of market dynamics, with a learning attitude to adapt to changing trends.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) is an added advantage.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve queries and provide solutions with a data-driven approach.
