Role Overview – Operational Excellence Specialist Mumbai

The Operational Excellence Specialist will lead OpX initiatives across three major levers: Process Optimization, Operational Management, and Lean Culture.

This role requires strong facilitation skills, Lean Six Sigma knowledge, and the ability to execute Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) projects using structured methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Process Optimization & Lean Implementation

• Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies and waste.

• Lead Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) projects using Lean tools.

• Conduct Gemba walks with management and document improvement insights.

• Promote Lean thinking across business support teams.

Operational Management & Governance

• Facilitate daily and weekly performance huddles.

• Develop and standardize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Track and report operational KPIs and improvement benefits.

• Communicate project progress to leadership and global OpX teams.

Compliance & Certification Support

• Assist in SOC 1 and SOC 2 certification coordination.

• Maintain documentation for audit and compliance readiness.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Operational Excellence or Continuous Improvement.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required (Black Belt preferred).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent facilitation, training, and coaching skills.

• Experience with visual management and change management tools.

• MBA preferred; Bachelor’s degree mandatory.

• Experience in asset financing domain is an added advantage.
