We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our team as an IFA Business Development Manager. The role involves acquiring and activating Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), driving investment product sales, and expanding assets under management (AUM). This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about wealth management, sales, and partner engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 IFA Acquisition & Activation

Identify and onboard new IFAs in the assigned territory.

Ensure smooth onboarding and activation, including IFA code generation.

Build strong relationships to ensure long-term engagement.
🔹 Business Development & Sales
-
Grow the IFA network’s portfolio and drive consistent growth in AUM.

Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales and AUM targets.

Track partner performance and proactively support underperforming IFAs.
🔹 Investment Product Promotion & Cross-Selling
Promote a wide range of investment solutions:

Mutual Funds (MF)
-
Portfolio Management Services (PMS, ASL PMS)

Alternative Investment Funds (ASL AIF)

Bonds & Corporate Fixed Deposits (FDs)

Equity & Unlisted Investment Opportunities
🔹 Compliance & Regulatory Adherence

Ensure compliance with SEBI, AMFI, and internal regulatory frameworks.

Complete necessary documentation and agreements.

Maintain valid NISM 5 / 21A certifications.
🔹 Partner Training & Communication

Train IFAs on product knowledge, market insights, and sales strategies.

Provide regular updates on new investment offerings and compliance changes.

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Commerce (MBA or relevant certification preferred).

2–6 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or mutual fund distribution.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

Sound knowledge of investment products and financial markets.

Must be AMFI/NISM 5 certified or willing to get certified.
