We are hiring for IFA Business Development Pune to acquire and activate Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) while driving growth in investment product sales and Assets Under Management (AUM). Role Overview – IFA Business Development Pune
The IFA Business Development Manager will focus on onboarding new IFAs, activating partners, and expanding the distribution network. The role requires strong relationship management skills, deep product knowledge, and the ability to drive consistent AUM growth.
This is a target-driven position with high visibility and strong growth potential within the wealth management ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
IFA Acquisition & Activation
Identify and onboard new IFAs within the assigned territory.
Ensure smooth onboarding, including IFA code generation.
Build long-term relationships to drive engagement and retention.
Business Development & AUM Growth
Expand the IFA network’s portfolio and increase AUM.
Meet monthly and annual revenue targets.
Monitor partner performance and support underperforming IFAs.
Investment Product Promotion
Promote and cross-sell a wide range of financial products:
Mutual Funds (MF)
Portfolio Management Services (PMS)
Alternative Investment Funds (AIF)
Bonds & Corporate Fixed Deposits
Equity & Unlisted Investment Opportunities
Compliance & Regulatory Adherence
Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines issued by
👉 Securities and Exchange Board of India
👉 Association of Mutual Funds in IndiaMaintain valid NISM 5 / 21A certifications.
Complete required documentation and agreements.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Commerce (MBA preferred).
2–6 years experience in wealth management or mutual fund distribution.
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Solid understanding of financial markets and investment products.
AMFI / NISM certification mandatory or willingness to obtain.
