Role Overview – DevOps Engineer
The DevOps Engineer will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines, reliable cloud and on-premise infrastructure, and best practices in automation and monitoring. You will contribute to process improvements and help maintain a secure and high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management & Monitoring

Maintain high availability and performance of cloud and on-premise systems.

Implement monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.

Handle log management and ensure backup systems are properly configured.
Automation & CI/CD

Automate deployment, maintenance, and backup processes using Shell Scripting and Ansible.

Oversee version control, release management, and patch updates.

Support seamless CI/CD pipelines by collaborating with development and QA teams.
Problem-Solving & Documentation

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for system incidents and document resolutions.

Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure components and configurations.

Suggest improvements to existing DevOps processes and implement best practices.
Security & Compliance

Manage secure SSH and application access according to company security policies.

Follow DevSecOps practices and compliance standards where applicable.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong Linux (Ubuntu) knowledge and Shell Scripting expertise.

Experience with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

Proficient with Git and version control workflows.

Hands-on experience with Ansible, Jenkins, and other CI/CD tools.

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).

Monitoring tools experience: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.

Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, firewalls, load balancing).

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
Nice to Have

Experience in telecom or large-scale system environments.

Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
