We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled DevOps Engineer with 3 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of DevOps tools and best practices and will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to ensure a stable, secure, and high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high availability and performance of both cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
- Implement and manage monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Automate deployment, maintenance, and backup processes using Shell Scripting and Ansible.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for system incidents and document resolutions.
- Resolve support tickets within defined timelines and maintain SLAs.
- Handle log management and ensure proper backup systems are in place.
- Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure components and configurations.
- Manage secure SSH and application access in line with company security policies.
- Oversee version control and release management, including patch updates.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and other teams to support seamless CI/CD pipelines.
- Suggest improvements to existing DevOps processes and implement best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) and Shell Scripting
- Experience with databases like MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis
- Familiarity with Git and common version control workflows
- Proficiency with Ansible, Jenkins, and similar CI/CD tools
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or similar
- Monitoring tool experience: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (DNS, firewalls, load balancing, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in telecom or large-scale system environments
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices and relevant compliance standards
