We are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst – Team Lead to join our India Shared Services Centre. The incumbent will play a crucial role in assessing credit risk for customer/vendor credit applications, ensuring compliance with global and local credit/risk policies, and managing a team of Credit Risk Analysts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Information Management
- Collect, assess, and ensure completeness and accuracy of customer/vendor data using internal systems.
- Maintain updated records to support the credit underwriting process.
2. Risk Analysis
- Perform financial, asset, legal, market, and contractual risk assessments.
- Conduct periodic reviews and re-rating of customers, vendors, and dealers.
3. Credit Application & Decision Making
- Prepare Credit Application Reports (CARs) and make informed decisions within delegated authority.
- Liaise with sales, credit committees, and relevant stakeholders for higher-level approvals.
4. Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor credit/risk profiles, compliance with policies, and sales mandates.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management and credit committees.
5. Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to optimize risk alignment.
- Drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication and support.
6. Policy Compliance & Development
- Contribute to the creation and refinement of local credit/risk policies aligned with global standards.
- Ensure full compliance with external regulations (e.g., SOX, Basel) and internal frameworks.
7. Credit Knowledge & Awareness
- Promote credit risk awareness across front- and back-office functions.
- Provide training, support, and guidance on credit policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Postgraduate degree in Finance (MBA Finance, CFA, or equivalent preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant credit risk analysis experience
- Deep knowledge of financial analysis, credit risk models, and compliance standards
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
