Purchase Procurement Engineer Oil and Gas – Technical Procurement Role
We are hiring a Purchase Procurement Engineer Oil and Gas professional to manage procurement activities for engineering projects. This role focuses on sourcing steel, machining components, CNC parts, and mechanical or electrical instruments used in Oil & Gas installations. In addition, the position requires strong technical understanding, vendor coordination, and effective negotiation skills.

Purchase Procurement Engineer Oil and Gas – Role Overview
As a Purchase Procurement Engineer, you will work closely with Engineering and Project teams. First, you will understand technical specifications. Then, you will prepare datasheets and float RFQs to approved vendors.
After receiving quotations, you will evaluate offers and prepare comparison statements. Furthermore, you will negotiate pricing and finalize purchase orders. Since timely delivery is critical in Oil & Gas projects, regular follow-ups with vendors will be essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Understand technical requirements from Engineering teams
- Prepare technical datasheets and circulate RFQs
- Evaluate vendor quotations and prepare comparison reports
- Negotiate pricing and issue purchase orders

- Maintain documentation and close POs systematically
- Develop and manage vendor relationships

Required Skills
